After I came back from my third voyage to the United States in 1992, I looked through different shops in order to find a model
of the aircraft which I had crossed the Atlantic in, at that time a Boeing 767-300ER from the SAS.
After a long search, I found a few models from a company called "Wooster" which were sold on the observation terrace
of the Hamburg Airport. But, as I did not find "my" aeroplane, I wrote a letter to "KV Wooster" in Scotland.
Soon later, I recieved an answer, saying that "the Scots" had begun to offer their "Snap- Together" Models (mainly at scale
1:200) in Germany.
The only thing missing was a national Distributor or Representative..
That is how the ATH-Business started, beginning together with Aviation Marketing GbR, Leverkusen. In the following years,
business expanded with enormous growth rates.
We added models made by the PPC Co. (Snap-Together-Models), "Desktop Displays" (top-end table models), and our
"Super-Scales".
Business went very well for several years, and the number of employees at Aviation Trading Hamburg grew up to three. However,
we were only working in the "Civil Aviation field" during our free time, so business became very strenuous.
In the end, we had to make a selection of models which came closest to our ideals of quality and individuality: We parted from
PPC and Wooster, and chose to specialise on the "Super Scales" and "Atlantic Models".
Currently, we still are the third largest distributor in Germany, but the only one who offers airliner-"VIP-Models" in
scale1:100 and larger.
Good service and sincerity has highest priority.
Deutsche Lufthansa AG, Lufthansa Technik AG, Airbus Deutschland GmbH and many other companies have recognised it, strongly
value it and thus are our main customers.
Apart from that, several newspapers and magazines have covered our company. One excerpt taken from "Aero International" (in
